The idea started as a whisper one that would come to define Tobaro’s most exclusive and storied creation.

In the early days, Tobaro took the cigar world by storm. Aficionados responded with passion, and commercial success followed swiftly. But for Tobaro’s founder, Alain Lord Mounir this was just the beginning. His vision stretched beyond the immediate, toward something timeless.

Inspired by the craftsmanship behind vintage wines, he became obsessed with a simple but daring idea: to set aside the finest tobacco leaves from each harvest those rare batches that spoke of something greater and age them with care, year after year, for a future cigar unlike any other.

It was a gamble. Not all tobacco ages gracefully. Each year, entire bales were lost some varietals faded, others soured. But this was part of the journey. Patience became ritual. Every six months, the aging leaves were tested. Those that held their promise continued on. The rest were discarded.
